My weight cycled a lot b4 but currently losing. I have lost breast volume (maybe 1.5 cup sizes so far) and perkiness. By the time I finish my weight loss I think it'll probably be 2-2.5 cup sizes. So my questions about it are- 1) At what point of my weight loss should I stop so there is enough fat to restore that? I still have lots of fat (cardio-just walk) 2) How much more $ would it be if I also got a fat transfer under my eyes while there? 3) Can you do a fat transfer w/ bellesoma lift?
Answer: Breast fat transfer v Lift questions (weight loss, under-eye addition and bellesoma lift)-75% done w/ weight loss journey Hello @Eclectic308351, thank you for your question. Is important to understand there is no one procedure better than the other, they serve different proposes. Fat transfer to the breasts modifies the volume of the breast moderately and especially enhances the counters of the body. Every patient needs to undergo a personalized evaluation to determine what procedure is best for them after considering all factors. For more information and recommendations is advisable to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Lift and weight loss 1. You will still have fat so I wouldn't worry about that. 2. It would cost approximately $1,000 more. 3. I developed The Bellesoma Method and it is best to do fat transfers on a separate occasion but can be done at the same time. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breasts Loose all the weight you want to first, and then see what is needed. You don't want to go through the expense of a fat transfer and then continue to loose weight. I do not place fat under the eyes. With extra skin, you might need the vertical lift or even the full anchor lift instead for better shaping.

Answer: Breast fat transfer v Lift Dear Eclectic308351, you should reach your goal weight prior to any elective procedure. The cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). Generally speaking, it is possible to combine fat transfer and breast lift. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Weight loss and upcoming procedures Congratulations on your weight loss. I suggest you continue and that same direction until your BMI is in what most physicians consider a normal or healthy range. For low-volume procedures like facial fat transfer they will always be fed available to harvest even on the thinnest patients because we only need a few syringes full. Personally I don’t like doing breast lifts in conjunction with fat transfer. If I do I’m certainly less aggressive with how much fat a graft. Each plastic surgeon will have their own few one this and choosing the most talented and experienced surgeon is the most important decision and variable. I would also think twice about fat grafting around the orbits(the eyes). These are tricky anatomic areas and fat grafting of the face is technically very difficult when it comes to getting quality consistent results without any undesirable side effects. We all understand why patients prefer a permanent solution compared to fillers but in this area fillers are more precise, predictable and more forgiving. Once fat is grafted in the face if patients are not happy with the outcome it is very difficult to reverse or correct the results. Anybody considering facial fat transfer especially around the eyes should be highly selective when it comes to choosing providers and only choose providers who have clear evidence of having performed this procedure thousands of times with hundreds of before and after pictures to prove it. I don’t know how many pounds you’ve lost or will lose by the time you’re done but most patients focus the first procedures on the areas most affected by skin laxity and it often tends to be the abdomen but of course this varies from person to person and moderate Weight loss may only have a mild effect on skin laxity. I recommend patients stay local for surgical procedures and whenever possible rely on in person consultations. During consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure if you’re interested in it. Simply saying a handful of preselected pictures which was likely represent the best results of their career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of an average results look like. Ask the provider to show as many pictures as possible with patients who have similar body or facial characteristics to your own. You should also ask them to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. Believe me we all have them. Any provider who claims to have done great numbers of these procedures should then also have great numbers of before and after pictures from all the surgeries they performed in the past. It’s very important patients get a clear understanding of what average results look like and especially for their candidacy. In other words some people are good candidates for certain procedures while other patients may not be good candidates and the results will be different because of it. Finally I recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. Patients should vet plastic surgeons thoroughly and carefully but obviously in a professional manner. Be selective and continue having more consultations if you’re not sure. Choosing the right plastic surgeon is the most important variable is generally the difference in those who are happy with their outcomes versus those who may later regret having considered having plastic surgery.
