When can I take a shower after abdomen and flank bodytite?

Thank you for your question. I allow my patients to shower 24 hours after Bodytite procedures. Be sure to follow the recommendations of your surgeon however, as different surgeons may have other guidelines. Good luck.

Generally you can take a shower 24-48 hours after surgery or after your first post-op visit.  This does not mean that you can bathe or subject the incision sites under water in a bathtub, hot tub, swimming pool, or ocean.  You must wait for all incisions to properly heal before immersion.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
