I know it takes time for optimal results, but when I took offer my compression garment after 72 hours, I was very disappointed to see NO DIFFERENCE. I'm 5'4", 130 pounds - 55 years old. I lost over 100 pounds 18 years ago & had some loose skin there - including some stretch marks. She told me she didn't need to do lipo as there wasn't much fat - she melted some … I heard her say we might need a second treatment? SHOULD I HAVE SEEN SOME RESULTS IN 72 HOURS? It looks exactly the same.
Answer: BodyTite Results Hello Kim,Do not rush to conclusions. BodyTite results start to be noticeable at a few weeks to months from surgery date. There is bruising and swelling involved post op. Therefore; due to the swelling it might seem that there is no difference from original state of skin. Keep using your compression garment, as that is used to help with the swelling. As always, do not take for granted the follow ups with your surgeon.

Answer: 72 hours post BodyTite Thanks for your question. It is certainly too soon after your surgery to make any judgment about the possible results. Even without the use of liposuction BodyTite routinely causes a significant amount of swelling. This will take several weeks to resolve completely. I would continue to follow your surgeon's directions, continue with your compressive garments. Make sure you follow-up with your surgeon and discuss your concerns. Best wishes.

Answer: Body Tite and Time Thank you for your question. Body Tite is classified as non-invasive but it is like liposuction with associated bruising and swelling. The bruising can last for a few weeks but the swelling can take several months to abate. The procedure puts heat into the tissues which takes time to cause improvement of the contour of the area treated. At 3 days after the procedure you would expect to see little or no improvement and in some cases swelling that can make the treated area look bigger for a short period. But this will improve with time as the swelling goes down and the tissue begins to contract. The amount of improvement with the treatment is different with everyone depending on their age, weight loss, genetic quality of the skin, and changes from pregnancy, smoking, sun damage, and other factors. That being said, I have seen very nice results with Body Title. It provides the ability to tighten skin like no other device I have ever been able to use. I tell patients that removing fat with liposuction is like taking feathers out of a pillow case, it will not improve the pillow case and there can be extra skin. With Body Tite we can tighten the pillow case to fit the new smaller volume.
