Will BodyTite get rid of my cellulite and shape my legs without scars, bruising and downtime? (Photo)

Question

I was told that I am a candidate for BodyTite that it can erase the cellulite. I am scared because I don't want anyone to know I had the procedure done or have any skin texture complications or scars. I've also looked at J-plasma online but I don't know that I could get rid of the cellulite. I can seem to find any progress photos post-op and I didn't get a clear answer from the doctor about downtime & scars. If I did this I would probably shape my tummy too. I am 27 years old.

There are several ways to address cellulite depending upon depth of cellulite, location, elasticity of overall skin envelope, and subcutaneous fat layer.
There is no uniformly successful method for treating it.  My practice is now using BodyTite a non-invasive procedure, that requires no down time to reduce the appearance of cellulite. 
The procedure combines different clinically proven modalities (radio frequency energy, deep tissue heating and suction coupled negative pressure) to distribute heat to the skin and underlying fat, causing the tissues to contract. Weekly sessions over an eight week period are recommended, but improvement is likely seen after the first few sessions. Typically, you can return to sedentary activities within two to three days; full activity with exercise, within two to three weeks.

BodyTite is not designed for treating cellulite but CelluTite is. based on your photos, you need HD liposuction, mild fat grafting, cellfina/scultra and internal heating with Renuvion or bodytite to give you a really great outcome.
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

BodyTite involves skin punctures to ninsert the device. Those will leave very small marks but not any large scars. There may be bruising after the treatment. It will not “erase” cellulite, there may not be any guarantees that the cellulite will be gone, but it will probably improve. There is always a chance of skin discoloration when energy devices are used.  You may also consider non surgical treatments such as Velashape, ultrashape, forma, or BodyFx.

you might consider Cellfina to reduce the cellulite. Patients are usually satisfied after the treatment (over 90 %). I would suggest you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience with Cellfina.

Thank you for your questions and photos. BodyTite is a great procedure for contouring the body while minimizing the scars and downtime of traditional surgery. Unfortunately, cellulite is a difficult problem and there is no perfect treatment to completely eradicate it. Tightening the skin and underlying tissue through BodyTite is one approach. In order to access the fatty layer under the skin, small puncture incisions need to made and they leave a few tiny scars. Downtime  and  bruising is minimal but can happen more  if liposuction is used in combination with the BodyTite procedure. Hope this is helpful. Good luck.
