I really want a stronger jawline. From personal research I think Kybella (Belkyra) or chin fillers would be my best option. I’m leaning more to the kybella side bc it’s permanent and cheaper rather than continuously getting chin fillers. If there are other nonsurgical procedures that are permanent please let me know!!
Answer: Kybella Candidate? Fillers or Implant will help projection Kybella is good for removing stubborn areas of fat under the chin. Your chin could be made to have better projection. If you’re not sure you’re ready for surgery, but still want to improve and strengthen your chin and profile, I’d suggest augmenting your chin with Sculptra and/or Voluma. I’d also remove the fat underneath your chin with liposuction or Kybella. If you like your new look, you can make it permanent with a chin implant.Hope that helps.

Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Kybella AND Fillers Thanks for your question, Pamela! I think the correct answer is both, as Kybella AND injectable filler will provide you with the best overall treatment result. Kybella could be used to give the chin and neck a more "chiseled" look by getting rid of submental fat (you wouldn't require many vials or too many treatments, as you don't have a large excess of fat). The overall result could be further improved by using a structural filler such as Juvederm Voluma or Radiesse injected along the jawline and chin to further define those structures and improve definition. As you mentioned, longevity is a consideration with filler treatments, but in the jawline/chin area we tend to see very long-lasting results with these products. While you may start out needing yearly maintenance, it's likely intervals in between treatments could become longer over time. I would caution you against using more "permanent" fillers such as Bellafill, as they carry a higher risk of adverse reactions in patients. Best wishes for a great result! Answer: Chin and More Defined Jawline From your photos you have a beautiful profile and no fat in that area so no need for Kybella. I would suggest Thermage and fillers to tighten and add volume to the chin. If you choose the right product you will only have to do this once a year. Best, Dr. Green

Answer: Kybella or filler Kybella is specifically FDA cleared to remove submental fat. If you want a stronger jawline you may want to look into augmenting the jawline with filler (Radiesse works nicely). It may not be permanent but lasts a long time and can be maintained for very reasonable cost. I do not think Kybella would benefit you.
