Otherwise, I am in good health, 36 years old, and I am looking for a procedure that will remove a small amount of belly fat and tighten skin after pregnancy.

Hi Peaceful,Emsculpt is contra-indicated in patients with pacemakers.  There is not a contraindication for treating patients with SVT (supra-ventricular tachycardia).  To be on the safe side I would advise consulting with your heart doctor for clearance prior to your Emsulpt treatment.  Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino., CA

Hi, thank you for your question. Emsculpt is not contraindicated in patients with SVT. Emsculpt will help to tighten the abdominal muscle and reduce the belly fat, however it does not tighten the skin too much. After your Emsculpt treatments, I recommend looking into other treatments like thermismooth, or ulthera for skin tightening.

Thanks for your question. With regard to the SVT, I'd say that as long as you've had recent cardiology consultation and it is well-controlled with medication, you might still be a candidate for EMSculpt. However, this device is not intended to help with loose skin. It can tighten muscle, build strength, improve muscle definition, and it reduces overall fat in the treated area. This might not meet your goals? Best wishes

EMSCULPT is a great treatment for firming and toning the abs (+16 % muscle) as well as fat reduction in the abdominal area (-19%fat reduction). SVT can rarely be caused by exercise in some patients. EMSCULPT works by provoking supramaximal muscle contractions. I recommend asking your cardiologist if EMSCULPT is safe for you.
