Inner elbow loose skin treatment? (photo)

Question

I have some loose skin inner elbows (antecubital) , can anyone recommend the best noninvasive treatment...not looking for miracles , just a little tightening?

Based on the photo you provided I would recommend Profound RF skin tightening treatment. Microneedling with radio frequency is used to heat the dermal layer to a precise temperature and depth. This treatment will help build collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the treated area which will tighten the skin.  The side effects you can expect are bruising and swelling for about a week.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Thank you for your question!Non surgical options give only mild improvement compared to surgical lifting. Skin tightening can be done with a combination of Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis, Celllutone/Zwave. However for best results, an arm lifting procedure can be combined with a high definition procedure at the same time. I recommend a Hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result.I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to determine which combination of treatments will work best for you. Best, Dr. Emer

The use of biostimulatory fillers that promote new collagen and elastic fiber synthesis can be helpful for adding hydration and improving skin turgor, both of which can contribute to tighter skin. In my NY practice, I would use diluted Radiesse or Radiesse mixed with hyaluronic acid. Occasionally, a filler, such as Restylane Silk may be used. These can be injected in a microdroplet grid pattern across the upper inner arm or via fanning. In my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved skin boosters and biostimulatory fillers are available, I would use Profhilo with the seven point bolus technique or biostimulatory fillers, such as Luminera HArmony CA or Neauvia's Stimulate or skin boosters, such as Viscoderm Hydroboosters, Restylane Skin Boosters, Hydromax, Juvederm Volite in a microdroplet grid pattern or with the fanning technique. You would be wise to seek consultation and treatment by a board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck.

In my opinion, the Profound system (Temperature controlled RF micro-needling) provides  an increase in skin tightening by creating hyaluronic acid, elastin and collagen. There are studies showing that it works well on the body and face. Good luck.
