Hi tasteful711484,Thank you for your question regarding whether you're a candidate for a butt lift. Thank you for your history and your picture. In brief, yes, I think you are a candidate for a butt lift. A buttock lift is also called a posterior butt lift or a posterior body lift. The butt lift may or may not include liposuction. During a buttock lift, an incision is made across the top of your buttocks. Then, excess upper buttock skin and fat are removed, and the buttocks are lifted. Liposuction can be done at the same time but needs to be done strategically to minimize trauma to the essential circulation to the buttock flaps. However, liposuction can be done around your waist, hips, and thighs to achieve a rounder and smoother look. You may want to consider a two-step surgery. This may be a safer way to proceed. First, I would suggest you undergo a buttock lift and heal for approximately six months. Then, at the second stage, liposuction of your waist, hips, and thighs can be performed. If you wish other areas to be contoured, or perhaps even fat grafted, the fat can be grafted to the buttocks like a Brazilian butt lift or BBL.Therefore, most plastic surgeons would agree that you are a good candidate for a butt lift and, at a second stage, liposuction of your waist, hips, and thighs with possible fat grafting. Good luck.Sincerely,J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FASMBS, FICSPlastic and Aesthetic Surgeon
Hello ! Based on your picture, it looks like you could benefit from the procedure. You could complete it with EMSculpt/CIT (collagen induction therapy or needling) for the best results.I hope this helps, best of luck !
Hello dear, thank you for your question. I would need front and side photos to assess if you are a candidate for tummy, back, and waist liposuction and for the butt lift. You can text us via WhatsApp at 1-829-554-6062 so we can give you a more accurate assessment about the surgery. A pleasure to help
Yes you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) as you have a nice shape to your body already with a small waist and a nice shape to your butt. A BBL would be able to reveal your small waist and make your butt rounder and full and blend your hips into your thighs. I use a technique called an Ogee BBL. There is a video link that will explain who is a good candidate for a BBL.
The names of plastic surgery procedures can be a bit confusing. The majority of patients who get gluteal enhancement surgery don’t actually have a procedure that does any lifting at all. The most common procedure involving the word butt lift is fat grafting to the buttocks, often called the Brazilian butt lift or a BBL.Procedure doesn’t know lifting at all. It’s simply changes fat distribution. By removing Fadley from undesirable areas typically around the midsection and grafting fat to the buttocks and hips, dip areas and more attractive feminine S-curve can be established.I recommend having multiple in person, consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to get an assessment and better understanding of different treatment options. Skills and experience, as well as the approach of what is the better procedure will vary substantially from provider to provider. There is significant difference in outcomes, depending on which surgeon you choose. For this reason, I recommend having multiple consultations to get an accurate assessment, and how to find the best provider.Explain to the provider what you’re trying to achieve and have them tell you what treatments are available. He should then ask the provider to show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your own who had the procedure or procedures that they recommend. Take notes during each consultation, especially regarding the quantity and quality of before and after pictures. Search online on the website like this one to get familiarized with what quality results should look like.Inexperienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least $.50 of before, and after pictures of commonly performed procedures. Being shown a handful of preselected images, representing the best results does not tell you much about how much experience they have or what average results look like in the hands of each provider. For that reason I would encourage you to ask surgeons to show you as many before, and after pictures after willing to. Count exactly how many previous patient picture if they’re willing to show you.Take an active role in the assessment of each provider.Body contouring procedures should be considered permanent and irreversible. If done poorly, it is difficult to improve on the outcome. Provider selection is the single most important variable that you have control over. For that reason, I recommend starting by having at least five in person, consultations, and consider rescheduling more, unless you feel very comfortable that you found the best provider.Patients should probably be more selective than they think necessary when it comes to choosing the right plastic surgeon.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
