3 days post Restylane in lips and have blister like lumps, is this normal? (photos)

I had my lips filled with 1ml of Restylane on Wednesday night (now Saturday morning) I have blistered like lumps on my bottom lip is this normal? I feel the blisteres on my right hand side bottom lip r getting worse, they aren’t painful but I’m worried this isn’t normal my top lip is fine.

Thank you for your question. It is too soon at 3 days post-treatment to determine what your final results will be as it takes 2 weeks for all bruising and swelling to resolve. Your lumps can be due to superficially placed filler. If they do not resolve in 2 weeks and they are due to filler you can have the lumps dissolved with hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow in 2 weeks with your injector for an evaluation. Best of Luck!

It may be that there was some uneveness to the injection but at 3 days there has not been sufficient time for it to even all out so give it at least another week

You need to go back to your injector to have the filler bumps dissolved. The redness could be due to bruising however upon your follow up with your injector they will be able to decide.Best of luck,
