How fast does Botox fade?

It should be completely gone in 4 months. With some people it lasts a little bit longer but it is rare. Hang in there, it will go away before you know it. If you do not want to wait, you may seek an expert who can make you happy with your smile by adding fillers. Good luck!

Botox® typically lasts 3-5 months however based on the fact that you had such a small amount of units injected it the area, you will notice that the results will wear off faster. Botox injection to the lower face requires a great understanding of the facial anatomy and advance knowledge of injection techniques. I recommend having your future injections done by an expert injector.

I am sorry you are having a bad reaction and are unhappy with your results.  Placing botox or any neurotoxin in the depressor angularis oris muscle is tricky and must be done carefully. Typically botox lasts 3-4 months but the area you had treated does not last that long.  Usually we see the DAO's fade within 1-2 months due to the amount of activity (eating, talking) in that area.  You can help speed up the process by moving your mouth as much as possible while at rest.  Continuous exercise of a specific area will cause the botox to wear off faster. Good luck.Best, Ariel Ostad MD PC

As others have stated, Botox generally lasts 3-4 months.  You may see the muscle action return a little sooner due to the small amount used and the frequent muscle action of that area.
