could there be a possiblity of delayed migrating of the filler ?...and should I try cold compresses to reduce the slight swelling that I have or Benydrill ? ..It was 5 to 6 weeks ago with Juvederm filler
Answer: At 5 or 6 weeks most of the swelling due to the injection should be resolved. At 5 or 6 weeks most of the swelling due to the injection should be resolved. If you are experiencing some swelling sleeping with your head slightly elevated may be of benefit to you. Also, cold compresses 10 mins on 10 mins off may help. Filler should not be migrating. Without an in person examination I am not able to give you an accurate assessment. Schedule an appointment with an experienced injector to discuss appropriate treatment. Best of Luck.

Answer: Excess filler or swelling Because it has already been a few weeks after your treatment, you may be experiencing swelling or too much filler was injected. I recommend you see your injector to discuss your concern and see if a corrective treatment with hyaluronidase would help.

Answer: Migration of filler at 5-6 weeks would be unlikely. Hello missey1234,Thanks for your question. It would be unlikely to be experiencing Juvederm migration at this point. You may have some residual swelling from inflammation or you may have been injected with too much Juvederm. Juvederm tends to display minimal post-injection swelling. Go see your injector and inquire about their use of hyaluronidase, the enzyme that can be injected into areas of over-injection of Juvederm to rapidly remove any excess.Good luck,Dr. Shah

Answer: Swelling or Migration after Juvederm Treatment Thank you for your question. If the Juvederm has been in for 5-6 weeks, then it is highly unlikely that it is migrating. It is most likely some residual swelling or inflammation. If you feel you have too much filler, you can have it removed with hyaluronidase or you can wait a little longer for the swelling to settle down.If it were me, I would wait. To be sure, return to see your injector or see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have these treatments. I hope this helps.

Answer: Persistent swelling after juvederm injection It is normal to have some swelling after juvederm injection. Juvederm can also migrate. Without more information about your treatment including the location and amount injected in the exact nature of the symptoms you're having it is very difficult to provide meaningful advice. I strongly suggest returning to the physician who injected you and reviewing your treatment results. Best of luck.
