Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.
In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.
To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.

It takes a long time for nasal swelling to go out of the nose following an open rhinoplasty procedure.  We tell patients to expect a full year before the swelling is completely gone.  At your next appointment I would discuss this with your surgeon, as sometimes an injection of steroid can help with scar tissue and any residual swelling that is lingering.  Best of luck!

Dear AmberMcCLain, You will have swelling in the nose which will slowly dissipate over the coming months. The tip area is typically the last of the swelling to resolve. At five to six months post surgery you should have a better idea of your result. See your surgeon for follow up appointments as he/she knows best where you are in the recovery phase and what your proposed results were.
