How can this V shape be fixed 2 years later? (photos)

Question

After my bbl I immediately saw this shape and voiced my concerns. I was always walled off with “it’s just swelling” or “you’ll see your final results after 1 year. Of course i followed every after care step my doc asked me to do. I got their faja, massages, never sat on my butt so I know it isn’t me. Ok it’s been 2 years after my bbl and I STILL look like this.

Hello, thank you for your question. I have utilized several techniques to improve this appearance, but it requires great precision to improve this. You need to find a board certified plastic surgeon who does a lot of revisions.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from a revision surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

If you want us to make an assessment on the outcome of the procedure you need to post before and after pictures so we know what changes were made.Likewise, if you go for any further consultations you should bring it before and after pictures taken by your provider at the time of surgery and during your postop visits.It’s also helpful for any new surgeon to have a copy of the operative report to know how much fat is harvested and grafted. if you don’t have copies of your before and after pictures then  you should ask your provider to forward of the ones they took. It looks like a revision could improve your outcome.follow up with the provider and considering having a Several in person consultations with a new providers  if you don’t feel your current provider can help you with your revision.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
