Of course it is impossible to tell whether something is infected from a picture alone and I recommend that you see the provider who removed the lesion to gleam his/her opinion. Having said this, the redness I see around the biopsy site may not indicate infection but rather signs of a shave biopsy that is healing. Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Good luck!
