If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "indentation and bumps" you should contact your doctor.
More than likely these lumps will resolve with time-perhaps several months.They may be related to some ingrown hairs or mild folliculitis ,or may just be a normal variant of healing,I would suggest visiting with your surgeon for a follow-up.
Actually those indentations and lumps may be observed untill first regrowing hair comes out from scalp skin . Redness may also seen together with them and all those may fade away in a long time up to 3-4 months
I would talk to your doctor about those issues. In general lumps, swelling, etc. should have gone away within a month. At two months it seems like there is a problem with your healing that needs to be examined.
Sometimes bumps along the recipient area reflect how the grafts were placed. Grafts placed too high and not flush with the skin can cause bumps. You will know if this happened as it would have been evident at the time of the initial surgery
The photo you supplied is is slightly blurred and difficult to assess. You should see your surgeon in followup to discuss the matter and have them examine you. Should pitting exist it is from improper graft placement.
Thank you for asking the question.This stage it is too early to comment on the lumps because the hair has still not grown and you have lost most of the hair. As you know, you will start to see some hair growth in the next 2 to 3 weeks and gradually as an as the more hair grows the lumps and indentation will not be visible.
