Hello! I am receiving steroid injections for a possible granuloma following filler (ie, dexamethasone, then kenalog if that doesn't work). My surgeon says this may potentially lead to fat loss in the areas of injection. Reading online, it seems this happens in 5-30% of individuals, however spontaneous 'rebuilding' of fat occurs within a year. My surgeon knows nothing about this. Can anyone whether this is true or not? Thank you very much, ~Matt

I would say that its impossible to predict this. I think that aging is the most important factor. We know that fat pads under the skin do things as we age. Good luck with your nutritional efforts! Most people would love to have your problem....as most people eat TOO MUCH :)
