When I first started using Botox for aesthetic reasons in 1991 (eleven years before it received its FDA approval for that indication), treating the scowl lines (aka frown lines, eleven lines) that make a person look angry was the initial exclusive aesthetic use of Botox. Nowadays we inject Botox (as well as Dysport and Xeomin) to treat all kinds lines and folds resulting from movement of the muscles of facial expression.
