I completely understand that doctors need to get paid and so forth, however, I am not asking for a free mommy makeover worth thousands of dollars for free (see below). Just a couple non invasive procedures- one time. Plus, I am 43 and if I like it I will be a lifetime client giving the docs my last red cent to look good forever on out. I was reading one of the other ladies asking for a free mommy make over and saw that one of the surgeons got a little insulted (Totally understandable)
Answer: Is there a way to get first time free botox or fillers on special offer? Just like lawyers, mechanics and other highly experienced professionals, we have expenses to pay and significant overhead to cover necessitating that we charge for our services. Personally, I would not trust any "provider" who offered a freebie. They will likely be practicing on you and you deserve better. You can shop around among experienced physician injectors for the best combination of skill and price but cost should never be the deciding factor when a procedure is being performed on your face. Every patient that I see for a second opinion that requires refinement of a low cost treatment regrets ever having gone that route. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: First time free Botox or fillers? I would be surprised if any physician would agree to giving a free Botox or filler treatment. Sometimes, doctors do need a patient for a training session or live injection at a meeting and it is possible that your treatment could be discounted in those situations.

Answer: Free cosmetic procedures ? Not likely that anyone with experience will give you free, "not medically necessary", cosmetic procedures.Years ago, Hollywood notables used to demand free cosmetic procedures. This is no longer the case because of HIPPAA and also because they themselves are not likely to say "I had plastic surgery by Dr. X". It is also not acceptable or legal for plastic surgeons to put their pictures up in their offices as a way to promote their practices. When regular people start working for free, meaning clock out at work and do some benevolent work for their employers or for the good of the economy, physicians will start providing "free COSMETIC" procedures to those who can afford it. In the meantime, as it should be, plastic surgeons give a lot back to their communities - they provide reconstructive procedures to adults and children that have had cancer surgery, congenital deformities or traumatic injuries. Very often, this is done at a fraction of what insurers pay for cosmetic procedures and they do it willingly ... I am NOT a plastic surgeon, but, the plastic surgery community should be commended for traveling outside the U.S. and providing much needed reconstructive surgery to the needy and also in the U.S. for people who need care but who cannot afford it. So, as you suggest, "it is not insulting" to surgeons but often it is a reflection of our society not placing value on their education, training debt (college, medical school, residency and fellowship) and need to pay their employees and their overhead ...
