Thank you for the photos. It is difficult to comment in your case without the pre operative photos. It is still too early to say anything definitive. As the implants settle into position, things should round out. Please do inform your plastic surgeon about your concerns. He/she may want to examine you. He/she may have a protocol that he/she may find helpful.
It's hard to tell what is going on in your pictures. You perhaps have some fluid around your implant on the left side. It may however just be swelling which would resolve. Check with your surgeon, they will be able to tell more with an exam.Good luck,Dr T
It is tough to say because first we do not have preop photos, and it is also very early in the post-op period and an exam would be helpful.
Thanks for the question. There are a few things to consider. First, you are very early in your postoperative phase. Your breasts will be swollen for months and the implants will take some time to fall into position. I generally tell my patients that it takes 3-6 months to get a good idea of how good the result is going to be. The other issue is your photos. It is much easier for us to assess patients looking at standardized plastic surgery photos. These are very hard to take yourself. My suggestion is to let your surgeon know about your concerns at your next postop visit. Explaining what to expect after the procedure is part of commitment your surgeon has made to you. Good luck.Dr J

If you are considering breast augmentation, any incision, and have a healing wound on the breast, I would not do the breast augmentation till all the wounds are completely healed. Why take risks.Samir Shureih MD. FACSsshureih@msn.com
This is always a difficult decision for some. In my opinion, the best thing to do is have a thorough sizing session. I provide my patients with a range of about 3-4 implants that are appropriate for their specific measurements. I then have them try these implants on in a special sizing bra. With...
