Thank you for your question. You are still early in your post operative course. What you are seeing mostly is spasm and swelling in the upper part. They usually will get to their final position in 6 to 12 months. One will usually drop faster than the other, and the shape may go through various changes. Please follow your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon's post op instructions. For example; we like message, but some surgeons will have you wait, or do it in a specific manner. I occassionally see implants dropping at different times. Importantly support the implant is in good position and encourage the high implant to settle with time, massage, and banding. You should probably visit with your plastic surgeon and review that surgeon's experience with this issue.
Hello. Two weeks is not enough time for the implants to settle. Your implants will not settle for about another three months and I would not be too worried about your outcome until then. It is not uncommon for one breast to drop faster than the other. Jaime Perez, MD Breast Augmentation Specialist Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa
Thanks for your post. Breast implants behave differently on each side and it is common for one side to drop faster than another. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo.
You might consider smaller implants. Best wishes. Knowledge is power. Luis F. Villar MD FACS
At 2 weeks post operative very hard to tell ANYTHING! But the right (left on photo) appears larger, could it be a hematoma??? Best to see your surgeon.
It is not uncommon for one implant to drop quicker than the other. The important thing to do is to massage the opposite breast in the downward direction to help it settle so that they will ultimately be symmetric. Sometimes a breast stabilizer is helpful to help settle both implants or just one if needed. You may want to ask your surgeon about this.
Yes - in a general sense, implants can drop that early, and asymmetrically, which is difficult for everyone. Be sure to stay in touch with your PS throughout the entire process, as it can take a while and his/her support will be helpful. Dr. E

We like for tape to stay on for a couple weeks if possible.  The paper tape helps the incision heal flat and nicely as it takes some of the tension off the incision.  You can apply a scar gel like SkinMedica Scar Gel over the tape and the gel will sink in and allow for the properties...
When I decide what breast implant is appropriate for patients, I look at the ideal breast base width. This width should correspond to the width of the implant. If you're an "A" cup, more than likely you wont have a base width of about 13 which is the width of the 380cc implant. I suggest you...
