Vitrase doesn't damage normal skin, it cant due to the pH difference in the medication versus normal skin hyaluronic acid. I suggest you see a filler expert to assess the area and improve with future treatments. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi. Hyaluronidase can be found in two commercially available products- vitrase and hylanex. Vitrase is made from purified ovine (sheep) hyaluronidase whereas hylanex is recombinant. Due to this, hylanex has less incidence of tissue reaction or allergy. Both can be used to dissolve HA fillers. Dissolving filler "evenly" has more to do with injection technique and can not be 100% guaranteed. You can always inject more hyaluronidase or add more filler to even things out. There can be a temporary loss of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin when hyaluronidase is used, but it should not permanently damage it. Best regards, Ira Vidor, M.D.

I dont use any numbing on my patients because I use cannulas which limit pain on injections. I suggest you go to someone gentle who does cannulas for fillers. Best, Dr. Emer.

I generally ask patients to not massage filler in the first 2 weeks. Sometimes the initial swelling may seem like there is too much or too superficial placement only to find that it is perfect once it "settles in". If the filler has been there awhile and you like it then massage will...
Yes. You are waay too young for a cosmetic procedure. Your face is changing and there really is not a cosmetic procedure that is appropriate for a 14 year old.
These need a combination approach with lasers, radiofrequency tightening and fillers. Often Sculptra is also used to tighten and lift. Please see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience in facial rejuvenation for an evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
