Should I wear a compression garment for my inner thighs?

Many years ago I had lipo done & was advised to wear compression garment. This recent inner thigh lipo the surgeon didn't recommend. I was wrapped in cotton & gauz bandages that I feel are making dents (uneven surface) (not tensor bandage). 1st surgery in Canada 2nd in Cancun. I fear the results will be less than optimal without the compression garment. So far I cannot find one to buy. Any suggestions are welcomed.

most plastic surgeons, and I am among them, prescribed compressive garments after liposuction. However whether it affects the long-term outcome is really not established. Nevertheless, I would encourage you to discuss the issue with your surgeon and probably get something that will generate pressure for a few weeks.

Hello and thank you for your question.One of the problems
with medical tourism is that you don't have very good access to your surgeon to
ask questions. Unfortunately, it is not good medical practice to give medical
advice without seeing a patient in person. I can say that I typically have my patients
wear compression garments for about four weeks after liposuction.  I
would recommend that you  seek out a board certified plastic surgeon so
that he/she may examine you and give you their advice.Best of luck to
