Is this a good option for tightening skin on the neck? Does it destroy fat?
Answer: What is the effective treatment for neck skin tightening? In skin rejuvenation, particularly for treatments targeting the neck, selecting the right approach is crucial to maintaining natural aesthetics while effectively addressing skin concerns. While Laser Genesis, a 1064 nm laser, is recognized for its collagen-stimulating capabilities, it also poses a potential risk of reducing subcutaneous fat, which is vital for preserving a youthful neck contour. With over 10 years of experience in aesthetic medicine and more than 30 years in medical practice, I advocate for the use of energy-based devices that provide optimal results without significant complications. I particularly recommend the novel 2910 nm fractional ablative laser known as Ultraclear Laser Coring. This advanced technology can be expertly applied to the neck to not only tighten the skin but also address various issues such as pigmentation and signs of aging, all with minimal downtime. The effectiveness and safety of the Ultraclear Laser Coring treatment greatly depend on the skill and experience of the physician performing it. Therefore, it is essential to seek a treatment provided by an experienced physician who can tailor the procedure to your specific age and skin laxity. This ensures that you achieve the desired outcomes without the undesired effect of fat loss, maintaining the natural fullness and appearance of your neck.

Answer: A combination of Morpheus8 and a Melapeel can help tighten the skin on the neck and face. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
