What is the best treatment for my eye hollows? (photos)

The photos suggest that there is generalized volume deficit in the cheeks, which contributes greatly to lack of support to the under eye regions and to the development of hollows, sacs and tear trough formation. The use of volumizing filler, such as Voluma XC or Lyft, for the cheeks is likely not only to address the volume deficit and create a more feminine, heart-shaped face, but will likely secondarily smooth the under eye region. Fraxel lasers are more for surface irregularities and fat injections carry certain risks. For one, fat injections are actually a relatively expensive, two-stage (one using a large bore cannula to remove the fat from the buttocks, abdomen or hips and the second to reinject it using a large bore cannula), minimally invasive technique. The promise of permanent results are seldom achieved, as much of the fat, displaced from its native locations, is generally metabolized away and any fat that does remain retains the properties of the anatomic site from which it was taken--meaning that if the belly develops a midriff bulge with aging, so can the fat injected under the eyes. It would be prudent to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or other core aesthetic physician and make sure to ask to see his/her personal befores and afters before agreeing to proceed.
