Question

Those who say gummy bear implants don't ripple, NOT TRUE! I had Allergan 410's high profile installed in my chest in October 2015. Do they look good? only when standing up and letting them hang. Other than that, they ripple when leaning forward, feel hard as a rock and I feel all the edges. They don't create cleavage, even with a push up! I don't ever see them feeling like a part of me. I am skinny with little tissue to begin with but that's why I went this route, I Should have researched more!

You certainly have rippling. Not all gummy bear implants are the same. some are textured and some smooth. All implants can ripple and be felt under certain circumstances, particularly with thin women.So long as you don't have contracture, you have the option of fat grafting to help thicken your coverage or changing to smooth implants along with some fat grafting.I'm sorry your doctor failed to explain all this up front.

I never tell my patients that gummy bear implants do not ripple. All implants have folds but highly cohesive gummy bear implants have the least amount of rippling.  You may be a candidate to undergo breast fat grafting now which can potentially help build up the tissue to reduce your rippling.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your question.  From what you have written it is possible that you have a capsular contracture that needs to be treated.  Please see the Plastic Surgeon who performed the surgery or someone you are comfortable with so that this can be evaluated.
