Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Raynaud’s disease is not a contraindication for BBL. Because it affects peripheral circulation, you may have less fat retention but discuss this with your board certified plastic surgeon.
Clearance from the rheumatologist or specialist who manages your Raynaud's would be required. The board certified plastic surgeon may benefit from any pre and post operative management the rheumatologist recommends. Otherwise, you should be able to have the BBL.
Dear nsoto9172017,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You would be eligible for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) if you are granted pre-operative clearance. If you are a good candidate (less than 5L of fat) for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as \o process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD,FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
I don’t see why having Reynaud’s disease would prevent you from having a BBL.I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to get an assessment and to find out what each individual provider feels about you as a candidate including your medical history.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
From your description of the dental work, it appears that all procedures (crown replaced, cavity filling) are cosmetic and not medically necessary. You might consider postponing them until you have recovered from the lipo and BBL. I do not think that one week between the dental procedures and...
I am happy to hear you are going into this journey understanding that a tummy tuck and Brazilian butt lift must be done in two separate procedures for safety and comfortability while healing. Typically, we encourage patients to do a tummy tuck first. This is a more invasive procedure, requires...
