Last summer I got 120ml of body filler (60ml per hip) injected in hopes to get rid of my hip dips. My immediate results were pleasing but once the swelling went down and I healed, I had little to no change. I believe most of my filler has dissolved since I don’t feel it anymore, but now I can’t find a doctor willing to perform a BBL on me. Can anyone recommend someone that may be willing to work on me? I am 100% healed and experienced no infections/issues.
Answer: BBL candidate Dear Manixxc, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Can I get a BBL after having SEDYFILL hylauronic acid fillers in my hips a year ago? Hello @Manixxc, thank you for your question. A proper assessment is necessary to have an expert opinion. In theory if what you have in your buttocks is hyaluronic acid you can have your BBL, the thing is that hyaluronic acid reabsorbs a lot sooner than a years. For more information and recommendations consult one or more board-certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. Answer: Can I get a BBL after having SEDYFILL hylauronic acid fillers in my hips a year ago? Whether or not you can get a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) after having hyaluronic acid fillers like Sculptra or other fillers in your hips will depend on several factors, including your individual medical history, the specific fillers used, and the recommendations of your plastic surgeon or medical provider. Here are a few things to consider:1.) Type of Fillers: The type of fillers used in your hips matters. Some fillers, like Sculptra, stimulate collagen production and can last for an extended period, potentially more than a year. Other hyaluronic acid fillers, like Juvederm or Restylane, are temporary and may have already dissolved after a year.2.) BBL Procedure: A BBL typically involves liposuction to harvest fat from other areas of your body, which is then purified and injected into your buttocks. If you had permanent fillers like Sculptra in your hips, they might interfere with the fat grafting process.3.) Consultation with a Plastic Surgeon: It's essential to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or a medical professional experienced in aesthetic procedures. They can assess your specific situation, the type of fillers used, and the feasibility of a BBL in your case. They can provide guidance on the best course of action.4.) Safety Concerns: Safety should always be a top priority. Combining certain procedures or having multiple injections in a short timeframe can increase the risk of complications. Your surgeon will consider your overall health and any potential risks.5.) Timeframe: If the fillers in your hips are temporary and have already started to dissipate after a year, you may be in a better position to consider a BBL.Ultimately, the best course of action is to schedule a consultation with a skilled plastic surgeon. They can evaluate your individual case, discuss your goals, and provide you with a personalized treatment plan. They will also consider your safety and the best way to achieve the desired results while minimizing potential risks. Always follow the advice of your healthcare professional when it comes to aesthetic procedures.

The injections you received are illegal in USA especially since from South Korea. Expect the fees to do lipo 360/BBL to be $10,000+ because the risks on injecting over this product are unknown. Best to virtual consult with.....

Answer: Hip dips, fat, transfer, after fillers Each provider will have their own review, but I don’t see any major issues with you having fat transfer because you previously had HA fillers, injected. For a lot of individuals, hip dips can be reduced nicely by while the liposuction of the love handles immediately above it. Without pictures we can’t make an assessment. There are different approaches on how to particularly treat hip dips. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat. Transfer results is more difficult than most people believe it. The number of plastic surgeons who have truly mastered this procedure is relatively few and patients should be more selective then they think necessary in order to find the best provider. In the end, there are generally only two variables that matter. The first is the patient’s candidacy, and the second is the Skillin experience of the surgeon. Being a board-certified plastic surgeon with years of experience, and overall good reputation does not mean somebody has mastered either Liposuction or fat transfer. Doing these procedures, well on a consistent basis, including the ability to make accurate assessments and deliver predictable results requires great skill. I recommend patients interview multiple providers before considering scheduling any permanent and irreversible body contouring procedure. My recommendation is that patients start by having at least five in person, consultations and consider scheduling more unless you feel very confident you found an appropriate provider. For fat transfer results make sure that after pictures were taken a minimum of 3 to 6 months after the procedure. Early fat transfer results can look very impressive but final results are very different. Do not assume that after pictures were taken it when results are finalized or mature. Ask specifically went after pictures were taken whenever reviewing before and after pictures with a provider. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patient, who had similar body characteristics to your own. Being shown a handful of preselected images, representing the best results of a provider his career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like, or how many of these procedures any one provider has actually done. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before, and after pictures of commonly performed procedures, like abdominal liposuction or fat transfer.I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection. When in doubt, slow down and schedule more consultations grade personally, I do not recommend having virtual consultations. In order to get an accurate assessment and properly vet providers I believe that is better done by meeting in person. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD
