Answer: How long ago was your rhinoplasty? I asked this question since you're after nose appears to be swollen. Overall, I believe there has been an improvement in so far as providing a less distracting and more feminine national appearance. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Results When you are asking about results, what you should ask yourself is, "Am I happy with the results?" If not, try to study the pictures and determine what changes occurred that left you unsatisfied. There are standards in rhinoplasty with regards to ratios and angles, but they are not hard-fast rules as individual's preferences may vary. If you are looking for objective analysis based on standards, pictures #2/#4 which I presume are post-operative photos reveal an overly rotated note, supratip fullness, tip asymmetry, and middle third asymmetry.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. A lot more information would be needed in order to most accurately address your question. How far out from surgery are you? Have you been followed closely by your surgeon with steroid injections? I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Playing Monday morning quarterback Overall, I think your rhinoplasty outcome is fairly good. There are a few aspects. I think I would’ve opted to do differently if I had the chance and ability. On the Front view the area just above your tip looks pinched. The production is nice. On the profile view, your tip was turned up a bit aggressively. Ideally, the tip should not have been turned up quite that much from my personal aesthetic view. Dorsal at reduction was done well. It’s not overdone and I think it looks good. There is a supra tip break though it’s a little bit high on your nose. Overall, it’s a lace outcome. It’s easy to second-guess and point out minor issues that could’ve been done better. Rarely do we get everything 100% perfect with complex procedures like rhinoplasty surgery. I’m a bit reluctant to point out any areas that could’ve been done better because patients often run with this accusing their provider of not having done a great job because another plastic surgeon said so. Recognize that these are only my opinions and each provider will have their own view. My opinion is neither right or wrong. It is just my opinion. as I mentioned overall, I think you got a nice improvement. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
