Can nipple sensitivity be returned through implant removal or other procedures? 2 years post op

I had breast augmentation surgery under the muscle (due to my thin stature) back in March 2020. I essentially had no feeling in my nipples since. I understand it may be because the nerves are "stretched" or even "cut," so while it's more usual to regain feeling, that has not happened for me. Are there options to regain sensitivity, including breast implant removal?
