I have been performing nonsurgical nose jobs with volumizing fillers for well over fifteen years. As you can see from the before and after photos of a nonsurgical nose job of one my patients in the sidebar to this column, volumizing fillers can be quite successfully used to straighten a bent or bumpy nasal bridge and to improve nasal tip projection and contour. From start to finish the procedure took less than five minutes to perform. In this particular patient, I used Radiesse. More recently I prefer Restylane Lyft (in my Upper East Side Manhattan office) and Hyaluronica 2 (which is my go-to in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizers and fillers are available). Since the nose is not subject to much mechanical stress, results typically last about about 1.5 to two years in my experience. Less robust, ordinary fiilers, like plain Restylane or Juvederm, would unlikely hold up more than a year. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician with particular expertise and experience in performing nonsurgical rhinoplasty and be sure to insist upon seeing his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
We prefer using microdroplet Silikon-1000 for permanent nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments. This may not be a substitute for rhinopasty surgery, and an examination would be necessary to determine your candidacy. Thank you. Dr Joseph
Dear Ael1,I would like to see pictures to better address your concerns, but you may be able to achieve your goals through dermal fillers. Dermal fillers can last up to 12 months. When you are ready, please visit a rhinoplasty specialist who can address your concerns and answer your questionsBest regards,Nima Shemirani
These fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) could be used to improve the symmetry and disguise a hump. These fillers typically last 6-12 months in this area, but adding botox could keep it there longer. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
There are number of different fillers available and the duration will vary depending on this. Juvederm Voluma for example should last 12-18 months. It is best to check with your doctor what filler is being used and its duration.
I suspect if you leave your nose alone, all of the redness will dissipate, and you will get your old nose back. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Temporary jail fillers are associated with necrosis, embolus, infection, stroke, and rarely blindness. I think that after several rhinoplasties, if you have several indentations and minor defects, you may be well suited for a permanent non-surgical nose job which is never associated with those...
Dear brebregabby in San Diego, California: It may be appropriate to do your non-surgical nose job without surgery. A consultation is in order. Yes, there are permanent fillers and there are temporary fillers. The costs depend on the volume. Typically with permanent fillers, the filling is ...
