Is it possible to change the shape or the bone structure with playing nose?

When I was 13 years old, some children at my school made some jokes about my nose. It had psychological very negative impact on me. I became obsessed with playing with my nose for making my nose smaller. My obsessive behavior was so bad, due to playing almost everyday with my nose the skin became reddish, I got some feelings of social anxiety. I am afraid that I have changed the bone structure or the shape with playing with my nose almost everyday (for few months). Is this possible?

It is unlikely that you've negatively changed the shape of your nose. There are options for improvement. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. However, surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thanks for your question and I doubt that anything you did would cause anything significant later in time.  If there are concerns with your nose, consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon and learn what the different treatment options might exist for you to get the corrections you are looking for.
