What should I do about my shifted nose cartilage? (Photo)

I was playing a soccer game and I hit into a guy and my nose immediately started bleeding and it blocked my one nostril completely and has been bleeding out my nose and down my throat for 6+ hours it's the cartilage. What should I do?

Dear Sarah15808, In my practice I do not use a cautery for rhinoplasty surgery so there would be no need to remove the retainer even for anesthesia purposes since it is in a fixed position. Check with your surgeon and his/her policies. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.

Polly beak deformity can occur if the surgeon doesn't lower to septal cartilage enough at the tip.  It occasionally occurs and may necessitate a revision.  The reason it is called Polly beak is because it looks like a birds beak, as im polly want a cracker?  Cruel but true.
