White lines after Volbella are not common but when they happen, it is important to see your doctor back and have them assessed. In some cases, that may represent serious problem.
Blanched areas like this can sometimes be due to injection of filler directly into blood vessels supplying the area. This could have serious implications. Please see your injector as soon as possible. If he/she won't see you right away, you should find an injector who will. In the meantime continuous warm moist compresses will allow the vessels to open up somewhat and hopefully restore some of the circulation to that area. jlr
White lines are not common following Volbella, it can be due to filler placed too superficially in the skin. If it is arterial occlusion at day 4 you would notice more than white lines. This is probably filler placed just under the skin. It can be fixed with Hylase. I would go back to the Specialist you had the treatment with, as he/she would know what to do. Bruising after fillers can definitely happen as there are lots of blood vessels in the lower face and especially around the lip area. These resolve within few days to few weeks and should not leave any permanent changes.I hope that helps and best regards, Dr. Sapijaszko.
While all of the juvederm (hyaluronic acid) products can give fantastic results, they can also be associated with Tyndall effect, especially in the tear trough area (they can also increase swelling or "puffiness" in patients with pre-existing malar bags). Having observed this from...
Some swelling is normal following the injection of fillers in the lips, but in looking at your photo I would follow-up with your injector in a few days if the swelling has not resolved. Occasionally, an excess amount of filler is placed in one area of the lip and if this is the case, it...
I would recommend Juvederm Ultra Plus over Volbella. Results are longer lasting and patients are more happier with the outcome.
