Do B1 veneers look too yellow? (Photo)

Question

Hello, I need opinions. I recently had 18 veneers cemented. I chose B1 on the suggestion of the doctor. I feel like they look too yellow now, especially indoors. Can you please give me your opinions? The doctor has agreed to redo them if that is what I want (although going through drilling them off is not something I really want to do. Also, the middle space seems a little too big to me. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Having done thousands of veneers, I can tell you that B1 is a great shade for the overwhelming majority of cases.  I would ask him to allow you a little more time, like a few months, to see if you want to go whiter or not.  It is very nice of the dentist to offer to redo your veneers for you. Choosing the best color for veneers depends on many factors.  Skin tone , age , how many teeth are being veneered and patient expectations.For a young woman who is doing 18 veneers , fair skinned, I typically choose a bleach shade.if you are not happy and your dentist is willing to redo I would suggest living with them for a month.  If you are still unhappy after the month redo with a lighter shade

Historically B1 was considered a very light shade until people started bleaching their teeth. Now most people prefer the brighter bleached shades for their veneers. Also you need to take into account the color of the surrounding frame, your lips gums and skin tone. If you feel that they are too yellow, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you will be living with them for many years to come. I don't notice a large space in the middle but the left side of your arch does seem to collapse inward compared to your right side. If the lack of fullness doesn't bother you I would focus on your main complaint...... the color. Removing veneers isn't easy but it can be done. I would strongly encourage you to look closely at them before they are permanently cemented next time.
