I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem.  Botox can cause changes to facial volume depending upon the location of injection.  It sounds as though your Botox around your eye may have migrated to the cheek.  Again, this treatment is not permanent (lasting 3-4 months) but I appreciate how distressing this may be for you.  Recommend you discuss further with your injector. Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified or Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Thank you for your question.  Sorry to see you had an unwanted outcome following your Botox treatment.  If the Botox was administered too low around the crows feet, or too heavily dosed, it is possible to experience an mask-like, balled cheek appearance.  You don't mention how many days have passed since being injected.  Swelling could occur shortly after Botox for a day or so, but thereafter it is unlikely.  Rest assured this is temporary.  As the Botox is metabolized you will return to your baseline.  For future treatment, be sure to share this experience with the injector so they can exercise appropriate sensitivity in dosing and administration.  Best of luck. 

Thank you for your question, the good news is that botox is not permanent and will start to wear off from around 6 weeks. It generally takes around 3-4 months for the effects to have fully worn off. I hope this helps.
