Meditoxin is a good form of wrinkle prevention or reduction. It is not the same as botox however does address similar areas of the face. Make sure to confirm with your dermatologist to make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Hi! In Singapore, the locally approved brands of botulinium toxin include- original Botox (by Allergan), Dysport and Xeomin. There are numerous Botulinium toxins from Korean or Chinese manufacturers but these are not locally approved for use in Singapore.Technically it would be illegal for the practitioner to be using such a product on you, although they are commonly being used in illegal unlicenced establishments. My advice would be to select a trained and licenced medical professional for your treatment.Best wishesDr Bernard Tan
Thank you for your question. Meditoxin is a neurotoxin that is produced by Asian manufacturer Aestura. This is not a product approved for use within this USA, thus unfortunately I do not have experience with this product. There are several other neuromodulators such as Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport that are great products.
As noted below there are only 3 FDA approved toxins available in America for cosmetic use - Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport.
FDA approved neurotoxins in the US are Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin lock the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-7 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. It is important to verify the authenticity of products by checking established name and/or track and trace numbers. Also providers that use Brilliant Distinctions are verified through the manufacture. Hope this helps.

I’m not sure what you were trying to achieve, 30 units of Botox in the glabellar area is a bit too much. 16 -20 units are more common. That much Botox may cause your brow to drop.
DMSO does not remove toxins from the body, it acts by crossing the blood-brain barrier within 15 seconds and helps in removing headaches and other pain like stimuli. It should not interfere with the action of botox itself. Good luck from New York City
Hi Nerissa, A heavy eye brow or lid can not be corrected with more Botox; you must wait for the Botox to wear off. I strongly recommend returning to see the original injector and allowing them to take care of your concerns. Sometimes providing drops or using filler to help...
