If your esthetician says you should be fine, then without seeing you we can go by their word as well. If you are feeling discomfort or agitation, we suggest you contacting your local doctor. Check back in with your Esthetician in a couple weeks for a checkup.
Thank you for your question. Your Botox results are more that likely unaffected by the Clear and Brilliant treatment 2 days post injections. While rate of absorption an onset of action is not an exact science, a very generous 24 hours after Botox injections limiting exercise, massaging of the area or other facial treatments is sufficient. Two days following Botox injections is considered safe. Enjoy your results.
Hi,There is a lot of misinformation online, so I'm glad you are getting feedback from experienced providers! There is no reason to be concerned at all -- having a laser treatment, including Clear and Brilliant, 2 days (or even 1 day) after Botox is totally fine. In fact, we typically tell our patients to be cautious for 4 hours after treatment, so 2 days is well beyond that.
Hello and thank you for your question. It is absolutely fine to have had your Clear and Brilliant treatment done two days after your Botox. At that point your Botox has already been absorbed by the muscle and has no chance of migrating. The precautions I like to give my patients after getting Botox are: avoiding heavy exercise the day of, not to lay flat for 3-4 hours after injections and not to push on the areas that were injected for at least 5-6 hours afterwards. Hope this was helpful!
Hello, I typically advise waiting a week after a botox treatment before getting a laser treatment because I have found that the effects of the Botox seem to wear off more quickly, possibly due to the inflammation caused by the laser treatment. However, clear and brilliant is a very mild laser treatment that hardly penetrates the skin. I don't think that you have anything to worry about with this treatment.
You can have Clear + Brilliant after Botox. Keep in mind, it can take up to 2 weeks for your final results after Botox. Hope this helps.
Yes, this should be fine and should not impact your Botox results. It will take up to 2 weeks for final results with Botox. For best results with Clear + Brilliant, I recommend a a combination approach with:1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel, Viva, Co2/Erbium4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tighteningBest, Dr. Emer.
Thankyou for your question. You have nothing to worry about . We know that botox takes upto 4 hours to be absorbed so it would have been fine to have the laser 1 day after botox. It has been show that you get better results re lines with a combination of botox and laser. Hope this helps
Hell Rkstansberry,You are likely completely fine having undergone a clear and brilliant treatment two days after Botox. For the most part Botox will be in the position of injection within a few hours after treatment. light based therapies immediately after the treatment may inactivate the Botox or the manual pressure from the light based devices can shift the Botox. But after two days I wouldn't worry about my patients having a light based therapy. I hope this helps and good luck.
Thank you for your question. Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. When injected into the skin Botox will relax the muscles and smoothen out the overlying wrinkles. The most common areas of treatment are in the upper face. These include the ...

I’m not sure what you were trying to achieve, 30 units of Botox in the glabellar area is a bit too much. 16 -20 units are more common. That much Botox may cause your brow to drop.
