I had a microdermabrasion and glycolic chemical peel on my face. Now my face has black scratch marks all over. Will this scar my face? How long will it take to get the skin clear? I am horrified and scared if my face will be like this. The doctor has given me mometasone cream to be applied at night. Will this help?

Answer: Recommend using melarase creams to help with pigmentation
It depends on which type of chemical peel you are getting and to which areas. Most TCA peels to the face only should be safe. I would recommend refraining from any peels that require general anesthesia, peels to the neck/chest, and phenol peels.
