I did a chemical peel at home on my armpits. The chemical peel is a mixture of TCA, glycolic acid and lactic acid. The person who sells this claims that it's epidermal peel. On the first day the skin started to peel, it seems I picked flacking skin before it was ready and ended up with red skin for 2 days. Now it's my 3rd day and it's a little bit darker than my normal skin tone. I've been using petroleum jelly. Is this going to be permanent? I'm desperate and depressed ):

That pigmentation is related to the hair bulbs of the armpit hair. Let your skin heal. Stop peeling That peeling will not help this pigmentation. It is too deep to be benefited by those peels even at the risk of horribly scarring your skin. Do not do this to yourself. Stop treating yourself from internet purchased remedies. The folks who sell this stuff do not care about you.  Consider laser hair reduction for this. Do not get perfectionistic about the skin color of your arm pits. Seriously, it they are free of hair, no one expect this skin to be perfect. Stop obsessing about this. If you can't considering working with a psychologist.
