I am thinking of getting filler under my eyes, i dont have a lot of fat in my under eye area and it makes me feel tired all the time. My only concern is if it isn’t too early. Should I wait?
Answer: Tear Trough Filler with Microcannula Technique Thank you sharing your question and photo. You appear to be an excellent candidate for tear trough fillers, especially since you are young and do not need surgery at this juncture. In my practice, I like to use Restylane for tear trough filler because it does not cause as much swelling as other products when injected into this area. I also prefer to use the microcannula technique when injecting filler into this area because it essentially eliminates the risk of bruising and minimizes swelling, both of which are commonly associated with this procedure. Once the filler is injected, it can last up to one year in this location, although this varies among patients. For more information about tear trough filler with the microcannula technique, please schedule a consultation with a board-certified injector. Best of luck, Dr. Kian.

Answer: Can I have filler at 25? Absolutely! Yes, you can have filler in your tear troughs! Under eye bags or hollows can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers. There are great non-surgical options to fill in under eye depressions and hollowness. Using dermal fillers, a liquid eye-lift can be performed. A dermal filler such as Restylane would be placed in the cheek and tear trough to hide the depression or bag underneath your eye. Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression. Cost will vary and can be discussed at your consultation. I hope this helps!

Answer: Too Young For Tear Trough Filler? Tear troughs are a common area for filler treatment in younger individuals as there is a genetic component to loss of volume under the eyes. The good thing is that younger people don't need much for an adequate correction. Make sure you see an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine if the treatment is appropriate for you. Injecting the tear troughs requires an advanced injection technique and I don't recommend having this area treated by nurses or PAs. I use microcannulas to limit swelling and bruising. Best wishes.

Answer: Age and tear trough... Hello and thanks for this question. Age seems to be irrelevant in the tear trough deformity. Based on the photo, I believe you could benefit from a dermal filler. I suggest a cannula technique with Restylane most often. See an expert. Dr. ALDO

Answer: Tear Trough Filler Thank you for your question. Yes, you are a good candidate based on your photo for dermal filler in the tear trough area and age is not a factor for treatment. Restylane with the use of cannula is a great treatment for this area. With the use of a cannula, there should be less bruising and give excellent results. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
