Low belly button after tummy tuck (Photo)

Question

I posted a question about my umbilical float tummy tuck and I wanted to add a few issues. My tummy tuck was done about two weeks ago and I think get did my belly button too low apart from that there is still loose skin on top of belly bottom and I'm extremely upset and hurt because I had so much expectations. He did my best augmentation and it I'm in love with them but I don't understand what happened here. I've read since its umbilical float it's difficult:

Based on your photos alone it appears as though your belly button is at a reasonably appropriate level. The excess skin above may just be swelling, which when it resolves will take some weight off the umbilical area and may allow it to come up a millimetre or two. Of course, without examining you it is impossible to know. Its best to wait at this point and see how things look in a few months. If you are still unhappy then talk to your surgeon, most of us just want our patients to be happy and would want to hear about these things so we can fix them whenever possible. Best of luck!

Without knowing what you and your surgeon discussed before surgery, it is hard to give an opinion. Discuss a revision with your plastic surgeon.

Floating the Belly Button often gives this type of result. In my experience the only way to correct this condition is to perform a full abdominoplasty and creation of a belly button as the floated belly button will become devitalized.
