After being in for 3 weeks my drain was finally removed today (Started with 2 drains; 1 fell out on day 3), but my fluid output was still 40-60ml/day, all very dark maroon fluid since day 5 post-op. The nurse today actually *refused* to tell me what complications may occur or what to look out for. She just said to call if anything seemed unusual. This whole thing has been unusual. I don't go usually around getting TTs. Guidance? Steps I can take to minimize whatever complications may occur?
