Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour.Kind regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
if you have tight skin you may get retraction. but if you have looseness you will need a tummy tuck. the smaller you are before liposuction the more contouring you can get from the procedure. most of my liposuction patients get pre and post surgical optimization with hormonal therapy (see link to help boost their weight loss before surgery and help them heal after). You likely need weight loss and a tummy tuck . based on your decription, but I suggest posting photos. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Reuvion/IndMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. A fat transfer/BBL could also be considered, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. IF you have loose skin you will need skin removal (abdominoplasty/tummy tuck, bracioplasty/arm lift, thigh lift, body lift etc). Best, Dr. EmerYou likely need weight loss and a tummy tuck . based on your decription, but I suggest posting photos. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. If you have loose skin you will need skin removal (abdominoplasty/tummy tuck, bracioplasty/arm lift, thigh lift, body lift etc). Sometimes noninvasive options like vanquish and coolsculpting can be done to also help contour, and reduce fat, and tighten skin. Best, Dr. Emer.Sometimes the full scar needs to be revised and this just entails surgically removing and restitching the scar. Sometimes the scar plus skin . needs to be removed and that is a revision tummy tuck. I suggest posting photos and seeing an expert in revision procedures that combine liposuction/fat removal, skin tightening, body shaping/definition, fat grafting and cellulite improvement. Best, Dr. Emer. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Dr. Emer.
At 5'3 and 180 lbs, your BMI is 31. Liposuction only will not give you a total flat abdomen that you desire. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello!Have you seen a board certified plastic surgeon? She/he can determine for you what will safely provide you the best contoured result. If your abdomen is full from lax muscle, the muscle may need improvement beyond fat removal only. Four liters is a pretty conservative amount of fat removal - I would anticipate 360 treatment in you would be about 5 liters, again if the abdomen is full from fat under the skin and not lax muscles.Be sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon! You can find one at plasticsurgery.org. Best of luck to you!
Dear Sweet like Kandy, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You may be able to avoid the TT, but this will depend upon your exam and the precision with which the liposuction is performed. How flat the abdomen will be will depend upon how much fat is removed from the area as well as how you heal.Liposuction makes more sense for patients who experience excess fat in the abdomen area, but will not address skin laxity. If your family is complete, I would recommend that you proceed with the TT and lipo.
Just based on your photos, you may not have 4 liters of fat to be removed, and liposuction will not tighten your abdominal wall muscles and give you a flat abdomen. However, you can get good improvement with liposuction.
Hello dear patient.Human body has 2 type of fat tissue. Inner and outer. We can take out the external fat tissue but we can't touch the internal area. These fats located around your inner organs. You have to lose weight to have a slimmer tummy. Even if you have a tummy tuck surgery, your stomach may stay bumpy.. Best regards.
You have more than abdominal fat and the appropriate procedure would be abdominoplasty with liposuction. Liposuction alone may produce some improvement but could also produce significant sagging, particularly in the volume you desire.
NOT possible since you are easily 6-8 liters of lipo. Plus the excess skin issue may cause wrinkles and dents. Try losing weight first to see if your abdominal skin contracts evenly.
Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and...
