Filler injection into the lips is done not just to add volume (which you might not need) but also the create a better defined-border and reshape the cupid's bow as desired. Due to the precise nature of the treatment and the great level of artistry needed, it is very important to work with a highly experienced physician for this procedure. Thank you for your question. I would recommend using a soft product such as Volbella or Redensity II to help shape the upper lip. Injecting the "white roll" just above the vermillion border, defining the cupids bow and possibly reshaping the philtral columns will likely provide you with the right balance to your bottom lip. 

PDO Nova threads can be used to improve shape and provide lift. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are also good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Fat or implants are an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I have been using fillers for defining the so-called "white roll" immediartely above the vermilion border and for creating or defining flattened both Cupid's Bows and philtral columns for over three decades, since the early days following the introduction for these purposes of the original injectable Zyderm I collagen product. In addition to the lack of ridge and definition to the Cupid's Bow that you noted in your question, there is also the suggestion of some flattening of the philtrum above. Nowadays, we have refined our techniques and are fortunate to have a wide variety of natural hyaluronic acid products to achieve all these goals. Belotero Balance is my favorite for these indications. in my Manhattan office and Aliaxin FL in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available. Make certain that you seek consultation and treatment by a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Hello,Thank you for your question, and photos. You may want to look into Volbella. It's a softer Juvederm product. It won't add much size but it will give your lips a more pouty appearance. As always, please consult with a local physician to determine the best course of action. Good luck! 

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  I would recommend placement of a thin hyaluronic acid based dermal filler such as Volbella to add definition to your upper lip with little addition of overall volume.  You are the perfect patient for the filler.  Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years.  An HA dermal filler can be used to precisely shape and make the ridge (vermillion border) along the upper and or lower lip as well a more prominent "Cupid's Bow".  Following my beauty principles, the upper lip should be approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip for the lips to appear balanced. The lips can be augmented using a dermal filler or a Permalip implant.
Dermal filers and lip implants offer a much more reliable volume for augmentation of the lips than permanent fillers or fat injections which are associated with increased, unwanted, side effects.
