Is it normal for Juvederm to be squished between my lips and nose when I pout (Photos)

Hi and thank you for your question! One of the advantages of use of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm is the possibility of further revisions and correction by enzyme injection. In your case if it has been at least 2 weeks since the injection (to ensure there is no residual swelling), your physician can smooth out the margins with careful injection of hyaluronidase. It's always advisable to work with physicians highly experienced in lip injections for best results. I hope it helps and good luck!

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I see your area of concern.  If it has been less than two weeks since your injections this appearance may be the result of the additional swelling from treatment and will improve given enough time.  If the tissues above your lip are firm and indicate JVD placement you will likely need to have this material dissolved with hyaluronidase.  Talk to your injector, they can best help you.  

Thank you for your question. From your photos, it appears that your filler has moved into the tissue of the upper lip. This can be corrected by dissolving the filler with an enzyme known as hyaluronidase. I recommend having a follow up with your injector. Best of Luck!

It seems that your filler has moved a bit outside or your lip and into the tissue of the upper lip.
Basically my preference is that filler stays within lips and never leaves the border of the lips.
However do not worry, please go back to your physician and let him/her exam and he most probably will dissolve the leaked part of the filler and you will be very happy!

I looks like too much was placed too high in the upper lip. This can be resolved with hyaluronidase. It is probably more likely the injector and not your body which has created this problem. It might be that you will need to start over by dissolving all of it. Juvederm is sometimes tough to dissolve and I'm sure it will take 2-3 treatments to improve the problem.

It seems that too much product may have been placed on the top of the upper lip.  I often use two different products for the lips - one for the lip pillows themselves and one for the lip lines or cupid's bow.  Juvederm is a great product for the lips but too thick for other areas.
