What is the general recovery time of lip augmentation using injectable fillers? I will definitely not be getting anymore than one syringe, as I don't want to over do it.

Answer: Recovery time for lip filler Most patients swell at least 2 days but rarely more than a week. If you use a thinner filler such as Volbella then it is not hydrophillic and does not pull water in as does the older fillers. Dr ODell

Answer: Lip fillers The lips are a very vascular area so expect some swelling and potentially some bruising. Usually the swelling will subside in 48-72 hours but in some patients it can take longer. Usually by 2 weeks everything has settled down. You should consult with your provider to determine how many syringes are needed to give you the desired result. An experienced injector should be able to give you a natural look without "over doing it".
