I’ve heard of an injectable being used to dissolve fat in the chin area, but I’m not sure if it’s for under the eyes. I’ve also heard from a doctor that there is an injectable treatment used to dissolve fat within the nose! I’m sorry if this sounds lame. Could you please inform me about your experience in that field?

Answer: Morpheus8 While Kybella is a great treatment to dissolve fat under the chin, it is not recommended around the eyes. To diminish the appearance of fat pockets under the eyes, radio-frequency micro-needling (morpheus8) can be utilized. This treatment is able to boost collagen growth, shrink pore sizes, and diminish fat--providing overall skin quality. The results are finalized in about 6 months after the procedure, and additional treatments can be utilized to further diminish the appearance of puffy under eyes. Going forward, I would recommend you to schedule multiple consultations with board certified experts to discuss your aesthetic goals and craft your ideal treatment plan.

Answer: Dissolving lower eyelid fat There is nothing that can be used to dissolve the under eye fat bags. Any injection like Kybella would be risky and is not FDA approved for that area. RegardsDr. J
