I’ve heard of an injectable being used to dissolve fat in the chin area, but I’m not sure if it’s for under the eyes. I’ve also heard from a doctor that there is an injectable treatment used to dissolve fat within the nose! I’m sorry if this sounds lame. Could you please inform me about your experience in that field?
Answer: Dissolving fat There are injections to dissolve fat under the chin, but they are not used under the eye. Currently the best treatment options for bags under the eyes are lower blepharoplasty to address them surgically, or fillers. Fillers work to temporarily disguise the contour irregularities by using strategically placed volume. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Fat Dissolving Injections Under the Eye Belkyra or Kybella (depending on which country you are in) has been approved for use under the chin. You may find that some practices will use it ‘off-label’ on other fat pockets in the body. I would not recommend using it under the eye A lower blepharoplasty removed excess fat and skin from under the eye to reduce the signs of eye bags. I would recommend that you see an experienced Cosmetic Practitioner to assess the area and recommend the best treatment plan for you. Many patients feel that they have puffiness and excess fat under the eyes but actually have hollowing Tear Troughs which can be corrected by Dermal Filler. Warm Regards, Dr Glenn Murray, Absolute Cosmetic Medicine

Answer: Non-Surgical Eyelid Lift -- Periocular Rejuvenation for Puffy Eyes, Sagging Skin Under Eyes, Eye Bags / Renuvion Radiofrequency Thank you for your question, For puffiness and sagging under the eyes, we often use Renuvion helium plasma radiofrequency energy to achieve incredible results and take years off of your appearance. Combining RF energy and cool helium plasma, the signs of aging (wrinkles, pigmentation, skin laxity) are improved in a ‘Nonsurgical Eyelid Lift.' The focused heating tightens and peels the upper layers of skin with extreme precision, leaving the surrounding area undamaged, smoothing and tightening the periorbital skin, and improving the overall skin quality around the eyes. It's an aggressive treatment, and the recovery time is longer than with other nonsurgical procedures, but the results can be life-changing. See an expert to determine if this is the best solution for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Morpheus8 While Kybella is a great treatment to dissolve fat under the chin, it is not recommended around the eyes. To diminish the appearance of fat pockets under the eyes, radio-frequency micro-needling (morpheus8) can be utilized. This treatment is able to boost collagen growth, shrink pore sizes, and diminish fat--providing overall skin quality. The results are finalized in about 6 months after the procedure, and additional treatments can be utilized to further diminish the appearance of puffy under eyes. Going forward, I would recommend you to schedule multiple consultations with board certified experts to discuss your aesthetic goals and craft your ideal treatment plan.
