Could I get surgery to enhance or develop Asian-shaped eyes? (photos)

Your question talks about two different things1. Aegyo-sal, or "love band" surgery, is essentially trying to create fullness just underneath the lashes which many Asians naturally have. This is due to orbicularis oculi muscle hypertrophy in the "pretarsal" region of the eyelid, just below the lashes. Sometimes this is so severe that it pushes the eyelashes towards the eyes. This is a new fad in Korea and Asia. This can be created either with fat transfer or using a soft implant like Alloderm, or the patients own deep skin layer (Dermis-fat). 2. "Enlarge Eyes". So to make your eyes look bigger, you may want to consider upper eyelid ptosis repair. This essentially tightens the muscle that opens the eyes. This is a very tricky surgery that most plastic surgeons do not have experience with. It can lead to dry eyes, asymmetry, or poor eyelid contour. You should think long and hard before doing this surgery and should consult an Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon (Oculoplastics).
