Will one syringe of filler help both sides of my jaw be sharper? (photos)

Question

I had a chin implant a about a year ago so I don't think I need any work on my chin. I just feel like the corner of my jaw needs to be sharper on both sides. My right side seems to be a little sharper. It's a little hard to see with my facial hair. Thank you!!

Thank you for your question and pictures. Fillers can help define the jawline and improve the angle of the jawline. However, you would likely need between 1-2 syringes per side to accomplish this. Hyaluronic acid based fillers like Restylane Lyft can be used to improve jawline definition however I find that more then 1 syringe is usually required. I would expect to use 1-2 syringes per side. In your case, the chin and prejowl area should be avoided since you have an implant in place.

I believe you are asking if one syringe is enough to shape both mandibular angles. You are right you do not need any more volume in your chin the implant looks great. The jawline and it's point of prominence normally can take up good amount of volume. Yes you can sharpen them with filler but if you want real results substantial enough to make you happy, you need at least one syringe on each side. 
I think your jaw looks good as it is, so if this is not making you happy that means you are expecting a significant projection there.  Get one syringe on each side for results that could make you happy and last long.
