HI Sebastian,Thank you for your question. It would be best to liaise with your Doctor who performed your filler treatment and see what his/her recommendation is as some practitioners tend not to place the fillers deep enough. I normally advise my Patients to leave a gap of about 10 days between filler treatment and having laser hair removal on the same area. Wish you all the best.
Hi Sebastian,Voluma is injected deep, usually below the muscles of your face. Laser hair removal is superficial and should not affect your Voluma. Ask your injecting physician as well as your laser physician. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
Typically I recommend waiting 1-2 weeks after having any fillers placed to undergo any type of laser hair removal. That will give your body ample time to heal after having the fillers placed. Laser hair removal should not affect the overall outcome of your previous Voluma treatment.
I would generally suggest waiting 1 week before doing laser hair removal in an area that received injectable dermal fillers like Juvederm or Restylane etc.
Hi Sebastian,Great question! Voluma is typically injected deep under the skin to give a lifting effect. The energy from laser hair removal devices does not reach the depth where the filler would be placed. You should ask the physician who will be injecting the filler as well as the one performing the laser hair removal for their recommendations. I generally recommend spacing the two treatments about 1-2 weeks apart from each other. Hope this helps!
Hi, Thanks for your question! Undergoing a laser hair removal treatment should not affect the deeply placed Voluma. It is best for you to consult the physician who did your filler and will be doing the laser treatment before proceeding. You should give yourself at least 10-14 days between procedures.
Fillers last differently in different people and different fillers also last differently. I have found that Juvederm Voluma routinely lasts longer than it’s reported 2 years. In fact, I have frequently seen effects for over 4 years. The average for Radiesse was 18 months, but it frequently las...
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
I do think you still have some product in your lower lid- Tindal and swelling. Best have this removed by your injector prior to consideration of other fillers. To answer your question directly, most prefer Restylane or Boletero over Volbella. Juvederm product tend to change in time with ...
